EDITORIAL STANDARDS

Guidance with an accountable basis.

CompanyConnect guidance should state its scope, distinguish recommendation from guarantee and be reviewed when the underlying service, platform or evidence changes.

OPERATING STANDARDScope, evidence and accountable decisions
01

Identify the author and scope

Guidance identifies its responsible author or organisation. CompanyConnect-authored, AI-assisted guidance is labelled as such; it must not be presented as personal experience that did not occur.

02

Separate evidence from illustration

Client results, attributed reviews and numerical claims need a verifiable source and permission. Reference code and implementation patterns are labelled separately from completed client outcomes.

03

Make recommendations useful

Explain the operating problem, alternatives, trade-offs and limitations. Use primary documentation for platform facts, and write original guidance rather than copying competitors or producing near-identical keyword pages.

04

Keep dates and corrections honest

Update a page when its substance or evidence changes, not to manufacture freshness. Preserve a known publication date separately from its update date. If you find an error, send the page address and supporting evidence to our contact team.

Published guidance is not a performance guarantee.

Examples support planning; results depend on the actual workflow, implementation and adoption. Search positions, cost savings and business outcomes are not guaranteed. We distinguish a published change from evidence that it has been indexed, visited or generated a qualified enquiry.
